Premier League Primary Stars Programme

Exciting New Partnership Programme

The Trust has embarked on an excellent new initiative which provides lessons to our local primary schools, in order to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important skills.

Across the 17/18 season the Trust will deliver active learning via multi sport lessons linked to core subjects, notably literacy and numeracy. Thanks to the National League Trust and The Premier League for choosing the CST to be part of this nationwide programme.

Community manager Paul McGuire said:

“This is a fantastic programme to be part of. It’s allowed us to focus our attention on curriculum time activities helping children learn in a new fun way. We’re looking to expand in the New Year and hopefully Primary Stars will be a key part of the CST strategic vision”.

Great ideas shared around ways to incorporate other areas of the curriculum into sessions and I 100% recommend this programme to other school teachers

Brilliant example of embedding core subjects into the PE curriculum (e.g word building and maths activities). On a scale of 1-10 I score this programme a 10 as a recommendation for other schools.
